Musical Freestyle Clinics
A Two-Day Educational Experience for Dressage Riders • Hosted by your GMO, club, or facility
Co-taught by Brittany Hunter of Equisonic Productions & Kimberly Dunlap of Kimberly Dunlap Coaching
Looking to bring a fresh, engaging, and educational event to your riders?
Our Introduction to Musical Freestyle Clinic is a turnkey opportunity for Dressage GMOs, western dressage clubs, and barns to host a dynamic two-day experience. As experienced clinicians, Kimberly and Brittany provide all the instruction, materials, and creative guidance—you provide the venue and the audience. Perfect for both English and Western Dressage riders, this clinic blends technical skill-building with artistic exploration to inspire riders of all levels.
Over the course of two days, with both classroom and ridden sessions, riders and auditors learn what it takes to succeed at the musical freestyle, plan your best choreography, and select the right music for your horse. This fun and confidence-building clinic is appropriate for riders who are new to the freestyle, or experienced riders looking to deepen their knowledge and add some polish to their riding. Our unique, team-teaching format lets riders experience Kimberly’s biomechanics-based coaching alongside Brittany’s artistic guidance, preparing them to shine in the show ring.
Rider participants leave the clinic with a working draft of freestyle choreography for the level of their choice, and musical selections for each gait. Auditors also have a rich experience at this clinic, as equal participants in the classroom sessions and providing vital input and audience reactions during the music selection process.
